Bunker Family Funerals & Cremation - General Price List

The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers.
- You may choose only those items you desire.
- Any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for “Basic Services of Funeral Director, Staff, and Overhead” (See first item on General Price List)
- If legal or other requirements mean you must purchase items you did not specifically ask for, Bunker will add the items. An explanation of these additions will be included, in writing, on your statement.
Professional services
- Basic Services of Funeral Director, STAFF, & Overhead $ 1,695
This fee includes:
- Consultation with the family or responsible party
- Staff and facilities to respond to initial requests for service
- Coordinating service plans with the cemetery, crematory, and/or other parties involved in the final disposition of the deceased
- Securing official documents and necessary registrations
- Sheltering of the deceased
NOTE: This fee will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. This fee, or a portion of it, is included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials, forwarding or receiving of remains, and other funeral or cremation packages. Additionally, this fee or a portion of it may be added to the cost of using facilities, staffing, or services when our funeral home has not taken possession of or sheltered the body.

Except in certain cases, embalming is not required by law. However, embalming is necessary if you select certain services, such as a funeral with a viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to select services that do not require it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial. Please consult with a funeral director to learn more about your options.

Our charge for a direct cremation (without ceremony) includes:
- Initial transfer of the deceased from place of death to funeral home
- A portion of the basic service charge
- Private family identification viewing—30 minute maximum
- Three (3) days of refrigeration
- Local transportation to the crematory (within 25 miles)—additional charge applies for transportation to an out of town crematory
- Crematory fee
If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide are constructed of fiberboard and plywood material.

When a burial casket is selected from Bunker Family Funerals & Cremation, Value Service Plans are available.
These plans include the services and goods that are most often selected by the families who choose Bunker, at a reduced cost. You may add additional items to these packages, but you can not subtract items from them. When merchandise is not selected, any item may be selected from our general price list, our basic professional service fee is a non-declinable item.

In most areas of the country, no state or local law requires you to buy a container to surround the casket in the grave. However, many cemeteries require that you have such a container so that the rave will not sink. Either a burial vault or a grave liner will satisfy these requirements if allowed by the cemetery.
