Georgia Elizabeth Carpenter

On December 19, 2023, Georgia Elizabeth (Libby) Carpenter passed away at her home in Mesa, Arizona.

Born in Flemmingsburg, Kentucky, Libby married the love of her life, Robert Carpenter and they were lucky enough to have celebrated 64 years together raising their two children, Robert Russel Carpenter (Kathy), of Nashville, TN, and Tonya Kay Hughes (Chris), of Mesa, AZ.

Libby was preceded in death by her husband Robert, sisters, Helen I. Little, Louise Thompson, and her parents, Walter C. and Nellie M. Little. She is survived by her two children, Russ and Tonya, eight grandchildren: Ashlee, Andrew, Hayley, Courtney, Mike, Karen, Lauren, and John, and 10 great grandchildren: Dawson, Sterling, Remington, Westin, Alaina, Karter, Sophia, Braxton, Avery, and Elliot.

Our mother wanted to be remembered with smiles and laughter. She is at peace, and with my father, where she belongs and always wanted to be.
