Anna Spracale, Candioto, Marshall, Rodriguez

On the morning  of October 25th , 2023, at the age of 98,  Anna Rodriguez passed away peacefully.

Anna was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on September 2, 1925 to Salvatore and Gaetana “Anna” (Loschiavo) Spracale. Her parents passed way when she was young so, she was raised by her grandparents.

At the age of 30, she married John Candioto.  In time, they moved to Mesa, Arizona. She was a founding member of Resurrection Church in Tempe, Arizona. In the 1970s and 1980s she helped in the nursery during mass.  She was a member of the Trinity Prayer community for many years.  For a very long time she made bandages for the missions.  She also helped as a money counter at church.

Ann loved playing Bingo and going to the casino with her friends. She was a kind and loving person and she lived a long full life.  She will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joseph and Augustina Loschiavo, Her parents, Salvatore and Gaetana “Anna”(Loschiavo) Spracale  and all of her siblings, Anthony (Josephine) Spracale of California, Mary (Samuel) Messina, Giacomo “Jack” (Lillian) Spracale, Stefano “Steve” Spracale,  Agostina “Christine” (Edward) Lendel, Rosa Spracale, Josephine (Alfred) Lehman, Samuel (Clara) Spracale, all of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and James (Helen) Spracale of Tempe, Arizona.

Also preceding her in death were her husband’s, John Candioto, Harry Marshall and Don Rodriguez.

 

Visitation 9:30 am Resurrection Church 3201 S Evergreen Rd, Tempe, AZ 85282

Mass at 10:00 am

Burial at 12:30pm at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1562 E. Baseline Road,  Mesa, AZ 85204

    Aunt Annie was a grand lady and I was privileged to be part of her life for only a short time. My deceased husband Bob, loved her dearly. We never missed sending her “good” candy at Christmas. I will miss talking with her periodically on the phone. May she rest in peace.
