I worked with Steve related to his Dairy Queen business. Steve was an excellent restauranteur and was respected and admired by everyone within the DQ corporation. Steve made many important contributions to the DQ system thru the years, and his opinion was frequently sought out by DQ corporate leadership. Steve was a hard working, intelligent, and fair man. I am proud to say that he was my friend. My condolences to his family.

I remember Steve as a young girl in the Alma 2nd ward. He was one of my dad’s scouts. Laurel Leavitt will be having a joyous reunion with him in the spirit world. I cried when I read his obituary. He was valiant and faithful to the end. What a legacy he leaves to his family.
